"Entry level" would ,to me ,only apply to a specific brand.
Like say a very well priced bottom grade Perazzi could be labeled an "entry level Perazzi".
For a dealer to describe a sxs as "entry level" would be to assume you will,in time,be upgrading to more expensive boutique guns,[which as with anything,the more you get into it,study the nuances,get an idea of what you really like/want].
But you still have your own personal tastes,and may never have the want or need to exit the "entry level"
