This has been an interesting thread. The gun in question is long gone, it went at auction for much more than I wanted to pay.

I passed on it because the wall thickness was questionable (as was my measuring technique)and the left barrel wall being .065 nine inches from the breech (by my half-assed measuring method), and in need of a honing to remove minor pitting plus striking the barrels for refinishing, well, I like my fingers too much. They'll be others.


My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.
