I think this Wilhelm Collath(& Söhne)(successor to Georg Teschner-Tesco(Teschner-Collath)) example goes a long way to reveal just how widespread the sourcing of Suhl was. It is a Wilhelm Collath with what I think for now to be a Klett forge mark and then there's Oskar Merkel's "Merco" stamp. So Wilhelm Collath sourced Oskar Merkel who in turn sourced the Kletts.

with a "TCF" or "CFT", Christoph Friedrich Treibel stamp. It appears that Georg Teschner - Collath supported the WWI effort making flare pistols and their ranks were greatly diminished due to WWI and I think this is the reason for their sourcing during and post WWI.
