It probably is an SP if it looks like one. However, some late SP frames were made into Sterlingworths. (I know because I had one.) Flat sided, but with the line engraving like that which usually outlined the raised boss on a SW receiver. But my gun did say Sterlingworth on the barrels.

I think they are kind of butt ugly with the beavertail forearm. That said, I'm a 16 gauge guy and I'd very much like to own one some day. If you buy it and are interested in a trade in the 16 gauge area, I might have something available. Send me a PM.
