I'm sorry...I misread your post I was sure you were going to buy it when you made this statement.
I went strictly by the ad copy, Miller. Don't know for sure 'till its in my grubby little hands.
The 2 3/4 thing wouldn't bother me a bit, as the 2 1/2" ammo I would feed it would be fine. 'Bubba won't buy it, as it needs camo tape on the stock to complete it, and Darlene has her eye on a new surround sound...
That stock is simply phenomenal...not a hammer guy myself, but the neatest thing I've seen in a long, long, while.

PS Thorny, 29" tubes, and I 'gotta believe this thing would handle as good as it looks.
It is a work of art for sure Ted and probably worth the postage to just get it in your hands so you could give us your professional oppinion of it.
If you need me to I could even pitch in a few bucks to help you pay for postage...even though it could mean Darlene would have to wait on her new surround sound.
