3.My second suggestion is in the future, avoid reading all of my posts and stick to Oprah's latest Book Club Selection,if you can't stop reading them, then shut your pie hole Granny. If I want to type in all caps, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! WHAT ARE YOU, THE TYPING POLICE? HAVEN'T YOU ANYTHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR PHD AND TIME?
4.You may be under the mistaken assumption that because you have lorded over God knows how many hapless students that I give a damn about your opinion, but that would be a mistake. To me you are just a meglomaniacal, nitpicking SOB that couldn't hold a real job. Those that do...do!!! Those that can't...Teach!!!
5.I know where I was during our sojourn into sunny Southeast Asia and unlike you I wasn't at Berkeley et.al.
6.O.K. repeat after me: 1st tour Tay Ninh=Mortar=Pain .... 2nd tour Hue'=RPG=Numbness with long periods of typing.... PHD=Idiot who can't differentiate.
7.This is for GJZ...I'm sorry my earlier response/explanation wasn't more reasoned, you may pick any of the above 6 that you feel are better reasoned, as a way of me telling you "I think people who worry about someone's typing style, need help...badly"
8.I wouldn't trade a minute I spent overseas,in country with my buddies and anyone that doesn't like that need not reply,I will save you the trouble and time of either criticizing me or my friends and gladly acknowledge your contempt and derision.

In conclusion I have but 2 things to say: We Walked the Walk and that gives us the right to Talk the Talk! Where were You?

If that doesn't put an end to it...this will!

Mind your own Damn Business!

Dear Jerry F. Lee

Thank you for your thoughtful, professional, and reasoned comments about me and my profession. I am not just a teacher but a researcher as well. Whereas I sometimes question my ability to teach, I have no doubts about my ability to do research.

I started doing research on you when you offered to trade me a rather rare German WWII medal for my Griffin and Howe single lever sidemount, a friend was concerned that the medal was might be a fake, so I decided that researching the seller was easier than researching the medal.

A zabasearch.com on the name Jerry F. Lee says that you were born in August of 1952, a peoplefinders.com search says that you are 57 years old. I haven't know these to be wrong. You practice law in the state of Georgia. Your online resume [1] gives this pertinant aspect of your educational record.

Clayton State University Criminology Associate of Arts 1972.

Normally these are two year degrees.

You claim service in Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division from 1969 to 1971. Since you didn't turn 18 until August of 1970, and considering your educational record, I hope that you will accept my grave concerns as to the truthfulness of your claims.

I rarely bother reading a post with a lot of upper case letters in it because it is just too hard for me to read. If I had to read a post in either all lower case or all upper case, my preference would be all lower without a doubt.

Maybe that is why some folks use to refer to me as the "Idaho Redneck". wink

Did you guys know that you can go back and delete your post?

This was an experiment on my part with the hope that Dave would see how professional we were and make us a new Buy-Sell-Trade forum for the rifle people.

Based on the tone of the recent exchanges on this thread, when I logged in today I momentarily thought my browser had been re-directed to www.ar15.com or www.paintballforum.com, where such mature and well-reasoned dialogues are more commonplace.

I'd like to second Michael's proposal, and ask some of the members here to re-visit their previous posts. Once the dust has settled, I hope we can get back to the (previously) civil and collegial tone of this thread.

Best Regards,
Peconga in Boise, Idaho

Michael: In keeping with your suggestion,I went back prepared to delete all my posts regarding this subject, however the forum says " You may no longer delete this post" when you push the delete button. If you find a way let me know, I don't want to do anything to impede our getting our own WTB/WTS/WTT forum. Warmest Personal Regards Jerry
