ART: According to most text on "Netiquette", all capitals are only considered "shouting" when the entire or the majority of the text is written in uppercase. In fact upper case is prefectly fine for what is deemed, a section of "attention seeking" verbiage or as in a store's "FINAL CLEARANCE" sign; as some words to catch your attention! However while not trying to be an ass about it, I have to wonder what sort to school monitor mentality must exist in people that this is of so much importance to them. I have been a trial lawyer for 33 years and have read thousands upon thousands of emails in every imaginable form and not once has this shouting business ever crossed my mine. I must confess that while on this occasion it was purely intentional in my getting attention, I have sometimes even "SHOUTED" because my left hand becomes numb after a lot of typing, due to hundreds of RPG fragments still lodged throughout the left side of my body,arm,hand and leg. I think in the future I will call it "HUE' SHOUTING" in honor of the place, where I still can hear shouting that really mattered, and that's the kind that still bothers me even today. Rest assured you are lucky that a few upper case letters are all you have to upset you re: shouting . I am not so lucky, nor were the 9 men K.I.A. [8 and some pieces] there in Hue', in my platoon that shouted until they could shout no more. I'll watch my typing a little closer, in the future.
