The Carolina Vintagers will show up as we have done every year since the beginning with enough weird stuff to shoot in every event if there is enough time in the day.
I checked the Deep River website for the latest rule changes. There are 2 specific changes that I could see to accommodate the ever growing number of shooters.
Shooters must rotate through the course counter-clockwise. In previous years, shooters were starting from both directions and creating huge log jams mid course. This should help the move shooters along better.
Second, multi-gun shooters can only shoot one gun and then move to the back of the line before shooting the next gun. I used to do this but stopped after I saw one guy with a 12 hammer and a 12 hammerless who called for view birds between guns when he never left the station, gezzz.
Bob Brown is planning on coming over from England bringing vintage cartridge belts, misc parts from junked guns (locks, hammers, screws, etc.), a few makers cases, shell bags, some pre-1898 shotguns, vintage cleaning rods and whatever other bits he can pack up.
Toby Barclay has previously posted that he will be there with guns he has been restoring since we last saw him at the Vintage Cup. He sold out of his damascus snap caps last year. I hope he brings enough for this year
If you have not been before you should try to attend. It has evolved to be (for me) 3 events in 1, the sporting clays tournaments, the vendor tents and the LC Smith-Parker Challenge.

PS to John Bugden.
John save me 2 of your bespoke oak and leather fly swatters cuz summer is coming to the south.
Thanks,
Joe
