I see that nine days ago I said I had a mental list of Citoris with trigger problems. Add another! I shot skeet yesterday and one of the other fellows had a Citori whose trigger would not reset for the second shot.

Probably just needs a good cleaning . . . which means, like on Parker Repros, it's not really a problem. smile

Seriously, not resetting for the 2nd shot can be caused by a variety of issues--such as loads that don't provide sufficient recoil, or maybe the gun not tight to one's shoulder. Whether it's a double with ST or an autoloader that won't eject consistently, I always like to see the owner try other shells. Maybe factory loads, if he's shooting reloads.

You missed my smiley, Greg. Sarcasm intended. One reason I don't like SST's is because things happen with them that don't happen with DT's. The selector/safety jamming issue, for example. Not a trigger problem per se, but the selector on a DT gun is your finger. Unlikely to jam . . . unless there's insufficient room between the triggers. And there's no "resetting" issue, even if the first barrel doesn't fire. And why is it that ST mechanisms seem to require cleaning more frequently than DT? After all, you'd think a DT would need cleaning TWICE AS OFTEN, since there are two triggers in there. smile
