Here you go from "Guns Illustrated" 1997 by Daryl Hallquist and Don Hardin. PLEASE NOTE A and B production started in 1892. The 'F' identifies your 16 as a post-1919 Folsom gun.

Drew, you are a good researcher, but some of the info in that article is not correct. Part of editing problems and part of republishing bad info. I don't even remember what was in that article, but here goes on rainbow's question. As a caution, when asking for serial no. info, one needs to give more info on the guns,so if the rainbow person is interested, maybe a gun description and pic would help him.

First gun, 49,850-------could be a single trap, a Batavia Leader, or a couple of others. What is it?

Second gun 2437F---------could be a Batavia Leader, or maybe a Black Beauty Special, or a Paragon. What is it ?

Thanks for the fast information.

Patriot, that gun is in 1909 , give or take a year or so. No records exist, but sometimes there are testimonials, or old letters from the Factory etc. that give us clues.

Thank you Daryl. I know the gun was in the 1904 Sears Cat. said, 'nitro proofed' twist barrels.
