I don't really care what conversation you had with Laurie in Dallas but I want to see the rule (as I have shown you !) that says your brother in law-who is not "in the business" has to have a FFL to do anything to the stock on your gun !

Entering a gun in a the bound book is indeed a requirment for a FFL licensed gunsmith who is IN THE BUSINESS.Not for the situatiuon you posted,"even your brother in law" .
