I cancelled my RBL. I just have $1k invested but a couple of weeks ago I just basically lost interest. I have absolutely nothing against Tony or anyone at Galazan.....they have always been 100% gentlemanly (or ladylike, as the case may be) when I communicated with them and all responses were very timely. I'd really like to have one someday, I guess, but it can wait now. I have plenty of shotguns right now anyway.
A couple of my project guns are nearing completion including a nice little Philly Fox 20g Sterlingworth upgrade with real engraving and some incredible new wood. I have recently taken up the pursuit of O'io, the Hawaiian bonefish, and I'll probably use the refund for a nice 8wt Tibor reel/Sage rod combo for a spring trip to Christmas Island.
Again, CSMC and all the folks there are top notch in my opinion. I knew exactly what I was getting into when I ordered the RBL and have no problem with the delivery schedule so far. I'm happy to be able to get my money back and to have been a small part of the startup of a really neat all American project. I guess I just have a short attention span.......so move on up guys.

Bob does miss Missouri. I remember his woodcock hunt in the hills, and sounds like his new Fox will be perfect for this. As cold, nasty and icy, as it has been, ol' Bob misses us!

Storm,
I'll get some pics of the in progress engraving up very soon. Doug Turnbull did the metal prep, rebating, polishing and new wood work and will complete the project with case coloring and new barrel blacking when the engraving is done. Rex Pederson is the engraving artist and I think you will be able to see my gun in progress at Rex's booth at the FEGA show in Las Vegas.
Aloha,
Bob
