Say, since you brought up the question, I was thinking last night that I don't have a decent 20 gauge myself. And I don't have any American double at all.

So, if anyone can chime in with a suggestion for a gun similar to what Chuck describes but with three or four other qualifications?

Must have rebounding hammers - low slung
Must be American - just because all of my others are British or German
Must be right around 6#
Must have a fair bit of choke - at least modified in the left barrel, preferably closer to full.
Must be under $3k and preferably closer to $2k.

Damascus is better than regular steel - I shoot only black.
