There's a "H* Krupp Lauf Stahl" stamp on both tubes beginning at the forend lug.
After viewing many German target arms and Carl Gottlieb(C.G./C.G. - 1804 - 1857) Haenel examples on the Carl Wilhelm Aydt design and the *H, or H*, appears on many of the tubes and for now I attribute the mark to Gebhard Helmuthhauser of Haenel in Suhl. Interesting that Collath sourced Haenel for tubes and the preliminary proofs are barely visible forward of the flats closer to the lower rib. With the Nitro stamp I'd guess this example to have been made between during WWI and prior to the mid 1920s when I guess Gebhard Helmuthhauser to have retired at an advanced age. I don't know when/if the proofhouse at Frankfurt an der Oder began dating but do know that it was closed in the late 1930s, which I would attribute to lack of volume of example to be proofed. A fact that hints that Suhl & Zella-Mehlis was heavily sourced. Zella-Mehlis should have been able to have lower costs, but both had the craftsmen, manufacturing facilities and proofhouses which is the reason the area was so heavily sourced.
