I have learned that the older .22 Hornet have a .223" barrel compared to the more modern ones with .224. Also the twist rate is different making lighter or heavier bullets more accurate depending on that. I haven't figured yet the twist rate and I have to still slug the barrels to see if this is an older .223 version. I don't know if I can find bullets for the .223 anyway.
