Has anyone used the RIO 28 ga, 3/4 oz ammo that Natchez has for $5.11/box? Thanks, Gordon

I have only tried to reload the shells using Winchester 209 primers. Many of them fell out because the originals were apparently a tiny bit larger in diameter.

Gordon I have used RIO 28ga shotshells with no problems. I also reload them using Unique powder because it is bulky and you end up with a crimp with no hole in centre. Take Care Pedler

I use 12G and 20G RIO ammo, tried 32G RIO also. Good ammo.

I haven't used the ammo but I have the empties and have been loading them with Unique and the Fiocchi primer and get very good life from the hulls. The first few loads in them tends to blow the mouth of the hull out straight so I manually align the crimp starter with the original folds and the crimps are perfect. After about the 4th reload the mouth will get some memory and the crimp starter will work on it's own. I figured I'd get to load these shells about 3 times before they split. I was surprised.

I have used RIO in all gauges, and it's good ammo. The 28 and 410 are a good value.
