The longarm was "on-hand" in Rasch's shop between January and April of 1893. I'd guess the top rib to be steel. Nice heel & toe plates; so is the butt horn or wood? It looks to be horn. No, not a conversion and the frame looks to have been sourced from Sauer. There should be a set of initials on the example somewhere and maybe they are covered by the lower rib. I'd guess the tubes to have been sourced from Belgium and interesting that all the exposed metal is engraved. Is the muzzle also engraved? I've very fond of the addressing of the top-lever, which is a nice addition. Are there any marks on the forend iron?
