Elephant ivory yellows with age, walrus ivory does not. Wonder if walrus ivory will stain with tea bags? Do you know the source of your ivory?

I've got a large coffin handled damascus bowie I had built many years ago and slabbed with elephant ivory. It has really dried out and aged beautifully over the years, hairline cracks and all, but I never tried to dye it.
