I have a bottle of what was labeled Sperm Whale Oil (SWO) I got about 20 years ago at a gun show in NH. Was old, looked old and have no reason not to believe the seller, certainly smells pleasant. Mine is a deeper orange and has not separated like the above.

FWIw a coating of SWO is the traditional method used to bring color to a meerschaum pipe before smoking and it certainly does that well.
