Gentlemens:

As I promised Bob, here are some pictures of the finished Gibbs Farquharson for Show and Tell. Mr. Doug Mann did the stockwork and the metal was done here at the Mook Works.

It is an early original action and now sports a 26" barrel with a full length integral rib and is chambered for the .500-3" Express. Turkish walnut stock with a leather covered recoil pad. Just the thing for your next tiger hunt.

It seems that this site won't allow pictures large enough to see the details. I will attach links to larger images if you wish to see them.

Best to all,

Glenn

OK, I have added direct links below each picture. When I click on the link it take me to a picture of the same size. Clicking on this picture enlarges it. Let me know if it works for you all...

Just gorgeous, how is the action finished, "coin"?

I can't decide what to be jealous of,the owner of the rifle or the skills it took to make it.

As an engineer I know just how much work has gone into making this magnificent rifle. Glenn well deserves his membership of 'The Guild'

All I need now is a large lottery win so I can make Glenn an offer he cannot refuse.

I cannot think of a superlative to apply to this rifle, words don't seem to be enough.

Harry.

I was fortunate enough to see this gun while at ACGG show and the pictures don't do it justice. The metal work is fantastic especially the rib matting and the wood is beautiful. Just top shelf all the way. Thanks for the post Glenn.
