Jim, when did you buy that gun? The rumor around here is that King's is closing or has closed. Probably can't call them today because thay have always been closed on Mondays. Just curious. Thanks. I got it in a trade from one of our members, who doesn't post much, at the Beinfeld show Jan. 15th, two weeks ago. Thank you,

Jim, I hope you enjoy the gun and it seems like you are. It was too small for me as was the RBL 28 that I also sold at the show. Still, I hated to see them go but I'm trying to raise a king's ransom for another double rifle. What with the SCI show I have not had a chance to shoot the Parker but I'll test it out Saturday.

Thank you, I am. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Parker. I shoot mostly low pressure 7/8 oz. loads @ 1150 fps. Very pleasant.

Re King's Gun Works, I just called them. New ownership as Gun King Armory. Still do gunsmithing, but no King's parts for you 1911 fans. Change occurred 3/09.

I've been in there since the change. The change in ownership seemed to not affect much. The loss of the 1911 parts is not meaningful these days. Wilson and a host of others drove over the stagnant line of accessories that King offered for decades.

I love my Round Action #2 28" .410. I'll have to try some Johnson's Paste Wax on the wood to make it look like the pictured gun. I would sure like to know whether the two barrel set is made on the same action as mine. What is the firing pin separation on your two barrel set? Sorry I took so long to answer your question. I forgot about it until tonight. Firing pin separation(ctc) is .873". Barrels and breech width is 1.784" thanks
