Reading the “Ugly Gun” thread made me think of the wall hanger I have out in the shop. Around 20 years ago a friend gave me this muzzle loading side by side shotgun which he rescued from an old barn that was being taken down. No one knows where it came from, but it is interesting. Each side plate has “Duggan” engraved in a nice script. There is engraving on the side plates, the upper and lower tang, the trigger guard and the hammers. Notice the back woods repairs. This gun is in restorable condition. Barrels appear to be steel. About 1/2" from the end of the barrels the bores are right barrel 0.658" and left barrel 0.648". Balance point is 7 inches in front of the trigger guard. With my hand at the front of the forend, the gun balances nicely.
Photos below.

The stock has about ½ inch cast off to the right. Note the long spur on the butt plate and the brass inlay just behind the upper tang.
Barrels are 33 inches long, weight is 9-3/4 pounds.
