Sliver,
No, not the Shot Show, the Beinfeld Antique Arms show is the topic. It starts today, I beleive, with setup. Tomorrow is the first "public" day, if I read the website correctly.

Thanks for the specification.

I am sorry to miss most of you. I'll be there a week later.

Safely home, after a very nice day. Got to meet Daryl Hallquist and Chris Schotz. Joe Wood didn't make it, had some dental problems. An AYA #2 follied me home, a two barrel set, 28 and .410. I got it for my wife, but she didn't want it, so I guess I'll keep it. Very good show, lots of goodies(with two triggers. The most outrageous item(to me) that I saw was an empty model 42 BOX for $1350. A cardboard box!!!!!
Be safe

I hear that Steve Barnett is there and I was wondering if anyone could go by his table and check the marks on the Sauer-Greener F.P. double, or maybe even take a pic???

Kind Regards,

Jim, so sad to hear that your wife didn't want the AYA. What a pity.

Well, what can you do but use and take good care of the poor Spaniard.

Congratulations.

JC

Jim, I really wanted to see y'all. But a root canal put the skids on my trip. Was to the point I just wanted someone to shoot me! Better now.

I just got back from Vegas an hour ago. Lefever Arms Collectors Association had the best display of high grade Lefevers since Uncle Dan was alive. So many Optimus Lefevers have never been in the same place at the same time! Both fine Syracuse and cross-bolt guns were there for show and tell. Come to think of it, since Uncle Dan and the Durstons probably didn't get together much after Uncle Dan split in 1901, LACA may have had more high grade sideplates and cross-bolts than have ever been in the same place, including when Uncle Dan was alive.
