1965 seems late for a Horn Triggerguard, doesn't it ?

Ellenbr, I don't have the gun here, but I do remember marks like the "Crown" over "W", what do these marks mean? Also what do you mean by "menacing muzzle"? I can only remember seeing about 4 german words on the barrel about metal type, I will try to find out what they are.

Postoak I agree that 1965 seems late for horn trigger guard, also the fact that I have seen no other model 60 with anything other than steel?

Maybe the previous owner put it on. A Sauer with the phesants on the right side and geese on the left is the model 60 and they are post war.

"Crown" over "W" means the tube is choked more than 0.2mm and I was curious about crosshatching on the end of the muzzle. 4 German words; maybe "Krupp Lauf Stahl Essen"??
