Seems to me that sleeving, or new barrels, with 2 3/4" chambers is putting a lot of thrust on an old action face. I just think Wally-World bombs are going to be a tremendous strain on things. I realise that those of us on here would not use them on such a gun but what would happen if it was given to Bubba? My 1904 Army and Navy SLE 12 bore has very new barrels from Benjamin Wild of Birmingham, and these are chambered for 2 1/2, which is right and proper in my mind. What do you fellows out there think?
