I am seriously ill with a life long infection, for beautiful bolt action classic rifles with fine walnut and rust blue, fine checkering and engraving. The more classic in style the better. An Infection that can only be cured by the work of Dr's. ...Linden...Niedner...Owen...Shelhamer...Griffin and Howe, among many others. You SCHUETZEN guys are however terminally ill when it comes to the accuracy bug! I applaud your quest for the "magic bullet" [my sincerest apologies to Dr. Paul Ehrlich and his 1908 syphilis cure] but I for one have reached a place, that for "me" is where I find I enjoy these beautiful works of art the most. I acquire them, work on them and in doing so hope I, either restore or repair them to their former glory as accurately but with as little actual change, as humanly possible from the original style or condition. I then shoot them or hunt with them, after a reasonable attempt to squeeze out the accuracy that is available using premium factory loads. ON THE SUBJECT OF...Offhand shooting!...the last time I did much of that was in the heat of combat in Vietnam. I think I can speak for some if not all of us lowly mortals, when I say " WE WHO ARE ABOUT TO TAKE A STEADY REST...SALUTE YOU!!!" Keep up the quest guys and maybe just maybe, you'll be too busy seeking perfect accuracy and bullet design and let a nice classic bolt action slip by, that I can pounce on. WARMEST REGARDS Jerry
