MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE OTHER HOLIDAYS [HANUKKAH AND KWANZAA].I too look foward to reading the forum everday and appreciate its'contributors. We shouldn't however forget the men and women who can't because they're contributing by carrying a plain M-16 while the rest of us are home, with our fancy toys. I spent 2 Christmas's away ['70 & '71] while in VIETNAM with the 25th.Inf.Div. and I remember how gut wrenching it was to read letters and listen to cassette tapes from home. Lets' keep these guys and gals in our prayers! JERRY

I am just a beginner to all of this.... was a bird hunter most of my life. I really enjoy this forum, maybe more than the double gun side.... as bad as things may be in the economy, (and politics), Things have been okay for me.
I am thankful for: I have this form to learn from.... My son is home safe from Iraq, I have a beautiful grand-baby, I got drawn for and got my first Elk (a cow Tule Elk in CA, a lucky draw), My disabled Daughter is learning to play power soccer in her wheel chair and close to graduating from Berkeley..... I haven't had to let go any more employees this year.... and I'll bet I can go one for a long time.
Merry Christmas to all, happy Hanukkah, and whatever else. Wishing all a prosperous and HEALTHY New Year
Jerry
PS SDH thank for digging out the last copies of your books, I really am enjoying the rifles book

Merry Chrismas from Snowy Central Virginia. If I hear somebody singing that song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" this year however, there may be blood on the snow. Twelve to 14 inches around here is a LOT of snow!! Ah well, like my e-friend Mike, I'm retired and trying to figure out how I ever had time to work for a living. Vacation from being retired, now that's what I'm talking about!! 8-)

Bill, We should also remember that Terry Buffum had a large part in the creation of this forum.
Terry is a splendid fellow who has done me several much-appreciated favors lately and so I'm not surprised that he had a part in the formation of this wonderful site. He and other fine folks here obviously follow the best rule of all, The Golden Rule! Best wishes, Joe

A BEST Christmas to you all, perhaps with fine walnut and engraving, if Santa is verrrry good.
This forum has been a real pleasure to read since it's inception. Thank you to Dave, and a hearty cyber-handshake to one and all. Your participation, professionals and hobbyists alike, has made these pages what they are.
Relax; we're all experts here.
