It's a little slow around here but normal for this time of year. Hope everyone has a nice Christmas and great New Year. I was cleaning out my little pocket camera and thought I'd post a picture or two. A Borchardt mid-range by John Wills, he started with a military action and built everything except the barrel.

Michael:
You have the neatest toys I think I've ever seen, and access to a bunch more that aren't yours. Thanks ever so much for sharing your knowledge and your photos, as they are the only way I'll ever experience most of what you've shared with us.
Merry Christmas.

The rifle is John's he built a pair a mid-range 40-65 and long-rang 45-70. The bench is at the "Fort" our shooting range and club house a hundred miles south of town. It's where we go to get away. Mike G. in the background and John in the foreground. Mike is shooting a 1922 and John a Ballard .22.

I'm not sure all readers and posters understand how this forum got started. Steve Hughes, Michael Petrov and Bill Murphy collaborated with a "plan" to approach Dave Weber about our wild ass idea to add a classic and custom rifle forum to his double gun discussion website. After quickly reaching an agreement about terminology and purpose, we emailed Dave our idea. Without any dispute or tweaking, within hours, the Classic and Custom Rifle Forum was in place. This forum, truthfully, is all about Dave Weber. Thank you, Dave, and thank you Michael and Steve. Bill Murphy

With a place like that to play, how do you ever find time for any work? Happy Holidays to all!

Bill, We should also remember that Terry Buffum had a large part in the creation of this forum. Graig, Work? what's that? I retired about eight-nine years ago and I'm so busy now I don't understand how I ever had time for a paying job.

Mike is retired... But has a LOOONGG history of "playing"! (; >) Very cool range, and 100 miles might provide some space... to "get way".... The Livingston Rod & Gun club is all of 20 minutes from my in town workshop, but we would need snowshovels today! Happy Holidays, and thanks to all who provide some daily entertainment at this global location! Steve @ The Office
