I stand corrected; Godio on the Ideal is in No. 4, Winter '06. The Fall '01 article ("The French Revolution") is a survey of French guns since Lefeucheux. Very little on the gun and bike works (I keep wondering if the Simplex 10-spd derailleur was somehow produced by the same co. that produced the Simplex single-shot.) but interesting comments on the confiscation and destruction of sporting arms during both world wars.
