Not to beat a dead horse, but it all starts with the gun companies being willing to make 16ga. guns, and marketing their benefits effectively to consumers, i.e., 12 ga. performance in 20ga. disguise. The 16 may be a small niche, but they seem to have no problem making 28ga guns either, which is also a small niche. It's all about SELLING, and few gun companies SELL the benefits of the 16 effectively. It could be a much larger niche if they wanted it to be. When the guns are made, and people get on the bandwagon, the ammo will follow.
