Welcome to the club. I have a closet full of Mauser Kar98's and Ithaca doubles. Needless to say Mauser doesnt mess with the 98 anymore, and as for Ithaca - the current factory cannot even SPELL double, must less provide parts. A knowledgeable smith or even you if you are a DYI type, can deal with most of the small parts issues.
No factory parts available is just part of the double game.
If you want it, buy it and enjoy.

I'm going to echo everyone else. If you are going to get into the doubles game, especially SxS, you can't let availability of parts from the manufacturer stop you.
Not one of my SxS's (well into the double digits) was made by a company still in existence. Oh, my mistake. I've got a beater Remington model 1900 12 gauge. I don't think I could call up Remington and get any parts for it, though.
It's all just part of the fun!

I honestly don't know why I asked the question, my other three doubles are old, and while the manufacturer still exists, the guns are out of production.
i am buying it because it looks beautiful.
