I'm going to echo everyone else. If you are going to get into the doubles game, especially SxS, you can't let availability of parts from the manufacturer stop you.

Not one of my SxS's (well into the double digits) was made by a company still in existence. Oh, my mistake. I've got a beater Remington model 1900 12 gauge. I don't think I could call up Remington and get any parts for it, though.

It's all just part of the fun!
