Here is a photo of a Manufrance Ideal advertisement from a French hunting magazine, Le Chasseur Francais, dated October 1925. It shows the four grades of the Ideal available at the time and describes each - in French. I realize that it is too small to read the fine print but if you will email me (research 'at' griffinhowe.com)I'll send you a readable copy by email. I'm surprised by the amount of interest in this shotgun. I have a Model 302 Ideal and thought that my fondness for the gun was somewhat unusual.
