Yes, it is I showed up late Sunday to that shoot, If I had shown up a bit earlier I would love to have "lent" it out for everyone to try out.

Great looking gun, Sliver. I've got an older 20 gauge made in 1898 with unusually long 30" barrels. It handles beautifully and I prefer the longer barrels. Definately not a late season gun for the north country where I live. It has the "eyeglass" style dual trigger guard. Hard enough to use without gloves, impossible with them on. It doesn't have the grade on the bottom, but I'm fairly sure it is a grade 4. Mine has replacement forend wood, if anyone knows where I could pick an original one up I would appreciate it.

Thank you, guys.

I was lucky this time. Usually when I call to inquire about a gun I am told that it had been sold already.
This No.6 gun has a more masculine action with its thicker top than the No.3 which seems more delicate with its fences rounded up...It must be the Huglu influence as I don't think the French would sacrifice beauty for the sake of safety...
Bill G. I wonder if you could post a picture of the action top of your 12 ga?

Since they are being shown, thought I'd post some pictures of mine:
16/65 made in 1938, NÂș 328.

The last one was taken before the barrels were re-blued.

Bill,

That's a gorgeous gun. I'd love to see it by my 20 ga as they both are the same model and would be wonderful to make them in a pair. You might remember, after you bought the gun from Dustin I sent you an e-mail.

JayCee, beautiful gun, too. Same masculine action. Is it an ejector? Shouldn't it have more engraving for a 328?

Northern Bob, any chance for a picure of those eyeglasses?
