Hello Pete, Thank you for the great photo! I have been roaming the northern wilderness of North Carolina for a few days. Good luck on your hunts with that American classic. Beautiful barrels, is the finish original??

Thanks guys. It is a classic in every sense of the word.
Walt,
The finish is 100% original as far as I can tell. So that pattern is the way the original buyer saw it. When it takes some ducks for me, I will post a couple of photos.

Tacky looking engraving... When that engraving has some case color on it, it is very attractive. I have a 12 with fluid steel barrels and it looks great.

Walt, Can you help me on yr of mfg. on 2 Ithaca model 37's first one is sn 630165-2 with corn cob forend and plastic butt plate. 2nd is sn 550438-4 sunburst pad, 37r delux with cutts compensator installed, does not have corn cob forend. Also if you now have a book on the model 37 where can I buy it and price? Thanks
