OP Chris Schotz Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 568 Western, NY	A friend wants to buy his son an O/U for Christmas. He would like to spend $1000.00 max. 12 or 20 ga, new or used. What can he expect to purchase with these requirements? His son wants to shoot occasional clays and probably won't use it for hunting. What would you guys recommend? Thanks, Chris

It used to be the Turkish guns were turkies but they have improved to the point that they make an OK gun that will last but trade value will be low. Bill

My first Gun was a 'retta....but I went right to a 1930 Francotte 25e SxS after I knew I meant it cheers n good luck on the hunt
