I'm a serious 22 RF target shooter & an ex-squirrel hunter and I looked at this one pretty hard. This one looks as if the rifle was intended for squirrel hunting in a gentlemanly fashion, maybe with one of those old Unertl small game scopes and that SST and maybe an old-timey tooled leather carrying sling with hooks on both ends. Those sling eyes don't lend themselves to serious target work. The side mounted Lyman is just awful. But what really puts me off is the horrible blue (?) on the breech block. I'd consider half the starting price to be reasonable.
