When I started my high-wall project and started looking for parts I looked at this rifle. It's well done but there a coupe things I don't care for such as the stippled top parts and the receiver sight mounted on the side. The price kept me away from it and suspect that's why it's been listed for as long as it has. I have no idea who the make was and did not ask for more info.
When your looking for a Winchester 1885 you have to use a lot of search terms such as hi-wall, hiwall, high-wall, highwall and model 1885.
