I have an english double that is off face just a little.It will move just ever so slightly.it is a webley and scott sidelock.would like to get some good sugestions for a smith that could fix it.

Don't know where you are but Jim Kelly at Darlington Gun Works, Darlington, South Carolina is the best that I know of.

Steve Bertram Got my W.& C.Scott 16ga. hammergun back on face in no time and the cost was very reasonable. Plus he is a good guy to deal with.

Steve Bertram has worked on a couple of my English doubles and done a great job. I know of a couple other very high dollar English guns he's worked on. He's very good, very approachable and responsive and extremely helpful.

I also recommend Steve. He put back on face a drilling for me and did an excellent job. I have not had work done by the others therefore I cannot comment.
