Don't worry about prison space...There will always be room for political prisoners; its only the real criminals the liberals want to turn loose...Geo

The "ammo shortage" which IMO was supplier contrived and worsened by panic buying is for the most part over here.

I don't think I can agree with you that it is over. I was in Yuma three weeks ago and couldn't find much handgun ammo. Shotgun shells were plentiful as long as you wanted 12 or 20. I was looking for 7-1/2s in 28 and .410, and everything that Sprague's had fit into a single flat. When I walked out of the store with my purchase, they were then "sold out." I tried to order some similar shells from Ballistic Products two weeks ago, and they only had one box left. They told me the shells (Fiocchi .410) have been on backorder for months and they don't know when they are getting more. Checked BPI again yesterday, and they are still out of everything I need. A friend needed some 9mm a couple of weeks ago, and the only way he could get the loads he wanted was to be waiting at the store when the delivery truck was unloaded. He bought a potfull so he's good for a while.

With the new law in CA, I expect everything to be sold out in a matter of days as guys like me buy their ammo before the regs kick in. I have not bought a handgun in CA since the bozos instituted the "drop-test" requirement and a few other inconveniences, and I may not buy any local ammo after the new regs take effect. They have plenty of my thumbprints from shotgun purchases, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let them print me for ammo purchases. I have no background issues, used to consult to the LAPD and carried a DOD Secret clearance. It's just the principle of the thing that pisses me off.

Please keep in mind inre. to Yuma that Governments do not make their choices for territorial prisons lightly! In my time in Arizona I've been in Yuma exactly once and that was enough for me.
The next time you're over my way contact me and I'll take you to my club where you can buy all the ammo you want.
Jim

Hey, I like Yuma. Lots of dove, quail, rabbits. And their high school mascot is "The Criminals." Honest.

Thanks for the offer on the ammo. I have a buddy who lives in Mesa and I may just have my mail order ammo shipped to his address. He's in So Cal once a month anyway, and I'm in AZ several times a year. Heck, we already have to go to AZ to buy decent paint and toilets, so why not buy ammo on those trips? And your gas is $.30 to $.50 cheaper per gallon as soon as I cross the border. Every time I think about what the legislature has done and is doing to this state, I get upset.

I just wanted to let you know you're welcome here at any time.
I couldn't even begin to think about living in the PRK.
