Destry & Murphy,
I went on a collecting binge a few years back and wound up with a few boxes that weren't all that collectable. So I started shooting them and got hooked. Then I started shopping smart and laid in a lifetime supply in 20 & 16 ga for about $15/box. One ounce of #7.5 was pretty common in the 20ga and I've used them in red papers for grouse and woodcock the last 6-7 years. It patterns great in my 20ga Fox and, knock on wood, I've never had a missfire.
Now, I ask you, was there ever a prettier shell made than these lacquered ones from the 1930's?
