bill schodlatz Sidelock Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 2,961 Likes: 9 Ruston,LA	If the metal that meets the wood is simple (870, 390, ect., a shim can be added to the bottom of that joint face to move the comb up. I use the tooth pick method on K-80's. I shim with tooth picks and when it's right I glass bed the action. I can move the heel of a stock about 1/4 inch before the wood to metal fit looks real bad. bill
