It might be tough to find a seller willing ti take a 50% haircut--but guns like this take a big hit on the secondary market. As a made to order gun, you have to deal with the dimensions of the original owner and hope you can get a good fit. Much of the value--or original cost factor-- of guns like these come from the one of a kind-built just for me status that they give the original owner. I'd say 50% was right on! High end guns are tough to sell these days and a gun from a very small maker--McKay Brown for instance---has few buyers waiting in line on resale guns, esp. in 12 bore!
