BBB is incorrect.
The "spurious" gun was not put up for auction by anyone associated with Shooting Sportsman Magazine. I wrote the article in question and one of the editors at SS changed my copy-without my approval-to "two" sidelocks instead of "one", apparently because of the spurious gun already advertised. I had seen it too and purposely omitted it from the article. I also photographed (with Mike) the correct spelling on the gun at Las Vegas and supplied the image to my friend Hans for his first article.
