They're made by Fausti in Italy from what I recall. Fausti makes contract guns of mostly utility grade. They seem to be made to attract the low end of the double market.

Tristar m411 has been my primary beater/duck gun for the last 5 years. Back then it was manufactured in Italy by Luciana Rota. I pound this gun hard, clean it infrequently and it sits in the barn between hunts with only a WD40 bath and have had zero hiccups. I have no idea re: what they are putting out today or of the quality or reliability of the current product. Of mine I can say that it's been super. I did lengthen the cones and put a sissy pad on it. Mine has proprietary threads on the tubes and I got the extended ones. They've performed well enough. I have to remind myself of the higher comb constantly. 2 1/4" DAH, DT, PG.

The italian company who makes two of there models is rota luciano in brescia italy. The same company made guns for cape outfitters when they were in business. The one I have has heald up well for the abuse it,s gone through. Snow ,rain falling on it,and laying it down in the desert sand. Broke one ejector hammer, didn,t fix it.1600 or 1800 shells. longshot 1385 ft per second , still going strong.
