Just once, just once I would like to see a post of a W & C Scott & Sons built gun that wasn't frickin perfect!!! She's not perfect but it's hard not to like her.

Joe,
Those are some pretty heavy loads your putting through those tubes. I believe Briley recommends target AA's or STS only. Just a note, I just got one of my 20 ga. Companion tubes back from Briley that had the chamber burst at the ejector cut. I was using some fairly stout 1 oz loads at the time. I can't say if it was a pressure issue or just a bad part. Thought you might like to know.

Here is one that has been "Cowboyed" along with having the crap sanded out of the stock. I guess it could be somewhat remediated by a sleeve job. Should I offer them 500 bucks for it ? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/conten..._wcscott_fw.jsp

Ken I talked with the fellow at Brileys before I had them made and told him I planned to shoot factory Pheasant through them...he said it shouldn't be a problem. Recoil is low and they extract just like a target load.

I saw that....that's a shame. I don't think it's worth 500 bucks.

For once Joe and I agree, $500 would be too much. Wood is a mess, trigger guard is bent, barrels are cut and dented all to hell (and pitted per the ad). Metal may be polished, pictures are just blurry enough to not be sure. What a mess. I'd give them $200 to have the action as a paperweight or hang the whole thing on the wall as art.

jOe,
Who needs a home when you have a nice gun like that?
Congratulations!
