Come on Greg, you should know what cartridge they are designed for.
You know, the ones with the primer ring.
Amazing and very accurate description of an up to now unknown percussion system.
Would love to see one of the designer cartridges.

Hate to think what they would say if ever they came across a Mark III Greener Police Gun. That does have three firing pins and a special cartridge. Lagopus.....

better yet... email them and tell them you give them half of the asking price since it is a "special unknown cartridge system"
tell em you can't find no ammo for it.
let the ignorance cost them some money, then and only then would they consider getting some qualified folks in there to make a half ass attempt to actually sell some of those guns they have.

A young fellow I know just inherited his Gramp's rifle. All he knew about it was that it was a 30-06 (bbl was stamped). He asked me to have a look at it and wanted to know if I knew what "kind" it was. I looked and told him what it was, a nicely sporterized U.S. M1917 Enfield. "Wow" he said. "You sure know a lot about guns, the guys up at .....'s Sport and Gunshop had no clue".
There are more than a few people out there selling guns who are indeed clueless.
