I use plastic cases but always use card and felt for wadding. Platic wads have a nasty habit of starting to melt as they go up the bore causing an even bigger cleaning problem. With coarser grain black powder you will find that the case sometimes shows signs on melting with pin holes appearing in the case wall. Cases are best thrown away after one loading. Compression formed cases such as Winchester AA can be used but the internal volume is not as great as those using parallel tubes. Lagopus.....
