Just found out that I will be in Tulsa for the next 2 weeks. Any good places to shoot skeet and what about some interesting shops? OT are there any decent cigar shops in town? Thanks gentlemen Shep

You're not that far from Enid. A drive over to Champlin Arms (at the Enid Airport) is well worth the effort, unless George is off at a show or shoot somewhere with most of his good stuff.

Not a lot to choose from here, Red Castle has Sunday sporting clay http://www.tulsaredcastlegunclub.com/SCWT.html, the folks at Sports World http://www.sportsworldtulsa.com/ could probably be of assistance on info on a skeet range, Kevin the owners son is/has been a pro. H&H was right about Woods & Water, hunted there a decade ago with the guys from ESPN's Under Wild Skies, it's now a housing development. If you're looking for vintage guns i.e. damascus ect.. there's a pawn shop in Tulsa and a couple in Joplin, MO (maybe on you're way) with some interesting stuff. PM me if you need more info. Doug

Green Country Arms & Pawn - 9705 E. 31st - Tulsa - had two or three damascus guns, if memory serves they had a decent LC Smith, but the price was a little steep.
I was in Joplin a couple of weeks ago, the shops I visited had a couple of nice Ithaca's and one Greener.
The shops were Ben Milgrim's - approx. 8th & Main, East side of Main - Greener & Ithaca ( a 1.5-Lewis? nice oxford damasc. very clean approx $800.00) and the Trading Post 4324 S. Main, just N or I-44, on Main had a clean Ithaca (Pre Flues/Nitro) with twist barrels, $599.00.
Also, SouthTown Sports @ 3030 S. Main had an "H" grade Lefever with steel barrels. FYI.. Doug

Be sure to visit Bill's Sporting Goods, 1016 S. Lynn Riggs, Claremore, OK
Also the Tulsa Gun Club has 5 Skeet Fields and invites visitors.

Forget about Tulsa. I spend 1 whole day before the gun show up there going to many of the pawn shops and guns stores, nothing there. Several I called ahead of time and told them what I was interested in, no luck.
There is Sportsworld that is a very nice shop, but most of the times I have been in there, they have a few used gun, and lots of new ones. They deal mainly in Beretta and Browning and the like. So if you want a current production gun, go there. I think the highest grade gun might be a Grade 7 Citori or a Beretta 687 EELL. Lots of nice clothes, accessories and such, but seems to be priced at full retail. If you are looking for used collectable guns, I do not think you will find it there. I have not. Nice folks.
