Chief, if they are integral with the hammers, cleaning won't really help though, will it? In that case they wouldn't really be "freed" to retract by cleaning, or would they?

I found a diagram of Bonehill's patent 337,810 of 1886,for a boxlock. The strikers are integral to the hammers. phideaux,if you want I'll e you a scan.
